"Illness struck Dr. Ila personally during her early years of medical training. Being on the other end of the stethoscope, she encountered the difficulty and helplessness of being a patient who found no lasting relief from the treatments of conventional medical science. Despite the technology surrounding her, her eyes problems continued. Eventually she sought out therapies and philosophies that responded to her as a whole person. This experience was one of the most potent lessons of her medical training.

Discouragement turned to optimism and activism as she searched for the least invasive therapies to help heal her body, which not only relieved her painful symptoms, but significantly enhanced her health. Improving her own condition expanded her vision as a physician committed professionally to the careful evaluation of all healing potentials. Together we sought the most promising Homeopathic methodologies melded with an innovative approach, we challenged dogma and refined existing physiological strategies, examining how they worked synergistically with advanced medical procedures. We redefined the health provider-patient relationship, engaging people in their own care. We were determined to build a practice that supported people through a compassionate clinical approach.
